Acceptable stay, a few issues
breakfast service hotel breakfasts stained carpet bathroom robe
the breakfast service IS well worth the price. one of the best hotel breakfasts i have seen ever. the sauna and pool were great after walking for miles everyday.
For a 5 star hotel it doesn't live up to the stars. the carpet in the room WAS stained. we had a bathroom robe with a big hole under the armpit. The spa was lacking maintenance.

missing facecloths noisy air conditioning
The staff were helpful with my enquiries about the facilities. It was my first stay.
I found the coffee pods were not replaced daily, frustrating. The room lacked facecloths, and I only got one towel. The air conditioning was NOISY. This really annoyed me.

clean room superb comfort
i was really surprised when i checked in at 11:30 and my room was ready , even though i only wanted to drop off my bags. the room i got was spacious and clean , and the bed offered superb comfort.
the breakfast service felt disorganized despite many staff , and i noticed the pepper mill remained empty for days.

The room was large and well-equipped with an iron, a coffee machine, and a hairdryer. the hotel is a short walk from a shopping centre. staff were friendly and helpful. housekeeping left chocolates daily. A nice touch.
the carpet in the room had stains! the curtains weren't hung up well. i found a bathroom robe with a hole under the armpit.

refined stay
nice fixtures clean bathroom comfortable bed
The room had nice fixtures and fittings, i found the bathroom very clean with high quality finishes. the staff sent champagne and cheese and a fruit plate for my first day as a cute gift. I found this very kind. the bed was comfortable and i slept well.
The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety though the quality was not great. This was a letdown.

The breakfast service lacked a self-service coffee option. I had to wait for someone to serve a cup. variety was present though the quality was not at the same level. staff presence was abundant but the system felt slightly disorganized.

the hotel includes a pool, sauna, steam bath, and gym, all located next to the spa. i found the gym to be well-equipped. these facilities added to the overall value .

Very nice Stay!
helpful staff warm welcome amazing service
Jose at reception gave great recommendations for sightseeing. I found him super helpful. John, by the door, provided a warm welcome EVERY time I came back. The breakfast staff was also amazing. Their service was prompt and kind. I appreciated the chocolate on the pillow. It was such a nice, thoughtful touch.
The bathroom lighting was poor. The garbage can was very old, and its condition was bad. The closet doors had trouble opening properly, and the hangers looked old and worn. This needs immediate attention.

The hotel sits across the street from the biggest mall in Portugal. This makes shopping very convenient. A short taxi, bus, or tram ride can take you to the town center easily. The location made it very easy to get around.

Reception staff is very professional. The personnel related to luggage are helpful with bags. I received help with directions and recommendations for local sightseeing, which I appreciated greatly. The staff really goes the extra mile!

Our double room was large. It included a big bathroom. The room and bathroom were excellent. Both were very clean. City views from the rooms are very nice. I could not get enough of it.
